Happy Lunar New Year!

Xin Nin Kuai Le!! It's the year of the dragon! Our agency had their annual Lunar New Year celebration. It was very hot and sunny, so Lexie decided to take a break in the back of her stroller. Note to self, next year we need to bring a tent!
Every year Lexie takes a picture with the Narcissus Court.
Lexie was excited about seeing the lion dancers. As soon as she heard the drums, she started dancing. She wasn't afraid of the lions and wanted to get up close and personal with them.
She gave the hong bao to the lion and boy, did she make the lion work for it. Since she's so tiny, the lion was having a heck of a time trying to reach for the money.

Lion love!!
This is the 3rd year we've attended this event and now she can do the crafts by herself. She colored and made a dragon puppet.
We got the spend the day with Lexie's best friend. He was so wonderful with her. He let her follow him around and she told me that he made a sand castle with her.
We did our own dragon puppet at home. I had promised Lexie we would make a puppet when I came home from school. She bugged Eric the whole day asking about her puppet and he had no idea what she was talking about. When I walked in the door, she came running up to me asking when we were going to make the puppet. This girl has an amazing memory!!
