Where did Thanksgiving Go?

It seems like we just went trick or treating and then it was Thanksgiving. And in a blink of an eye, it was over. Another year has gone by and we are forever thankful for this special blessing in our lives. Lexie is healthy, happy and brings us great joy! On our 2 year Lexie day, we visited the cardiologist. He said the hole in Lexie's heart is closed and the blood is flowing normally. We are so grateful that she doesn't have to endure another surgery.
She is truly what the holidays is all about. This was her year of loving pumpkin pie and she ate the turkey for the first time.
Now it's on to Christmas. We were early this year to bring out the tree. Lexie was so excited to help put the ornaments on the tree. We made sure the fragile glass ones were way above her head. She loved all of the Disney balls and was naming all of the characters on them.
We have to watch her very carefully because she has pulled ornaments off the tree and has hid herself somewhere to nibble on them. She knows now that she should only look at the ornaments and not to touch them.
Lexie chose her first ornament. It took her a long time to decide on getting Minnie Mouse.
She placed her Minnie on the tree.
Lexie loves her rockin' Christmas tree and was dancing with it. It's very loud, so we're happy to only take it out once a year. By the way, those are doggie mittens on her feet.
Lexie loves those doggie paws!
Lexie loves her tree and she knows how to press the button to turn the lights on.
Lexie loves those ornaments. When we're not looking, she will take the balls off the tree and start banging them together. Luckily, they don't break.
It's going to be an amazing Christmas. Every time Lexie sees Christmas decorations, she yells, "It's Christmas time!"
