Lights!

My new addiction is Pinterest.  I love looking at their fun ideas on crafts, cooking and gifts.  I found this neat post about using Christmas lights when taking pictures.  I showed it to Eric and we had a fun photo session with Lexie.

Ever since her first Christmas, she has always been fascinated with lights.  She loved staring at our Christmas tree as a baby, so I thought it would only be fitting to have some pictures of her with Christmas lights.

We have been a bit lazy this year with our lights.  Many of the houses on our street have their lights up and Lexie always says, "Everyone is getting ready for Christmas.  When is daddy going to make our Christmas house?"

Lexie and Maxx are the best of friends.  He is so gentle and kind with her even when she squeezes him or falls on top of him.  He loves to take pictures with Lexie.  

On this day, we had to take Gohan to the vet because he could hardly walk.  We found out that he had two slipped discs.  Unfortunately because of his age, there's nothing we could do for him, except to make sure he didn't jump off the couch.  He wasn't in a picture taking mood that day, so we only got pictures of Maxx and Lexie.  The good news is that within a few days, Gohan was back to his old self. We've been trying to get him to take it easy, but that little guy is very feisty and is constantly jumping on things before we can stop him.

Lexie can be a total ham in front of the camera.  And she loved wearing her reindeer shirt with the googly eyes!

Lexie best friend Nolan came over to play and the two of them loved clowning around for the camera.

Then it was time for some crafts.  We made jack-o-lanterns.  And when the kids got tired of putting stickers on the their pumpkins, they decided to stick them on their faces.

Lexie had a great day with good friends, lights and stickers!  What more could a girl ask for!
