Lexie is living in a nanny's home which is a foster home. Her foster family is getting her ready for us by showing her pictures from the scrapbook that I made. They also received our care package and said they took pictures of her in the clothes that we sent. They also let her play with the snuggly blanket that we picked for her.
She's tiny and weighed 9.25 pounds at 3 months. She likes to make "gugugu" and "yayaya" sounds. She's afraid of thunder and is happy when she hears music. She's eating more and sleeps soundly through the night. There hasn't been any medical problems. All in all, Lexie is doing great!! We're so happy that she's being taken care of by such a loving family.
We're hoping and praying that we get a quick ruling after our hearing on August 3rd. There was a slowdown during the beginning of this year, but in the past month, the pace has picked up again and many families are getting their rulings. We hope we're on that upswing and get some good news real soon!!!
