Oh, What Fun It Is!

Lexie is having so much fun! There are so many Christmas activities to keep us busy until the big day. We had a get together with our Taiwan group. Aunties Kristie and Tiffany had lots of fun things for us to do and the kids had a ball playing together. Lexie did pretty good with her Christmas tree. She did eat most of the candy and loved Aunty Tiffany for giving her marshmallows.

When Lexie was given her gingerbread man, the first thing she did was take a bite of his head. Then she realized that she was supposed to decorate it. That lasted for about 10 seconds and then she decided that eating the cookie was a lot more fun!

Lexie made some ornaments which she was very proud of and loved when Aunty Kristie gave her markers to use.

After she was done, Lexie wanted to hang her ornaments on the tree.

We met our friends for a yummy dim sum dinner. There's these giant horses in front of the restaurant that Lexie loves to play on.

We went with Mika and her family to our agency's Christmas party. Mika told the Santa, "I know you're from Taiwan." Lexie wouldn't look at Santa, but stood by him to get a candy cane. She did not like the taste of the candy cane and spit it out very quickly.

We had a fun trolley ride with our favorite Taiwan families and got to see the beautiful Christmas lights in downtown.

Lexie loved listening to the music on the trolley. She was dancing a lot to the disco music that was mixed into the Christmas tunes.

Mika came over to play and Lexie showed her how to make Christmas trees. Lexie still ate a lot of candy, but she did a better job this time around in getting more stuff on her cone.

Lexie and Mika show off their trees. From this point, Lexie started to feel tired and ended up falling asleep. She had the stomach flu. She was such a trooper and was back to her old self within a few days.

Lexie's favorite cousin came by to make some gingerbread cookies with her. Taryn is so patient with Lexie who can be rather bossy. Lexie rolled out her cookie dough.

Even though she made a huge mess, Lexie loved using the cookie cutters.

Lexie tells Taryn which sprinkles she wants. Lexie ate most of the candy that was supposed to go on the cookies. She was also nibbling at the cookie dough.

Taryn got Lexie to put some of the candies on the cookie.

Lexie was excited when her cookies were done baking.

Mmmm....they taste delicious!
