Taiwan Buds

It's always nice to spend time with good friends and Lexie loves being with N and his little brother.  Whenever she sees them, she's very shy at first, but within a few minutes, she was running after N and they were playing like old friends.  Little P wasn't shy also, he helped himself to Lexie's fried rice which was totally okay because she was too busy playing.  The only time she stopped was to eat dessert.
We got to fly our kites.  It was great until Lexie decided to see what would happen if she let go of the string.  That kite flew into a tree.  Luckily we were able to get it down, but lost the string in the process.
Then we slid down the hill on cardboard boxes.  Lexie loved this and didn't mind that she and N were tumbling off the cardboard and rolling over each other as they went down the hill.  As soon as they both got up, they were racing back up the hill to do it again.
Lexie also went to the grand opening of the Disney Store with her friends and met Minnie Mouse.
This new store is very interactive.  They have a tunnel that children can play in.  There's trees that project pictures and we were asked to clap and cheer for Tinkerbell to scare the bad guys away.
For the little girls, they have a castle and magic mirror that talks and shows the princesses.
Lexie, N & P could have spent the whole night coloring, but had to stop because they were going to be a part of the Disney parade.
Each child got to pick a mask.  They could be a hero, princess or funny character.  Lexie didn't want any of the princess masks and went straight for Jesse.  This mask is pretty freaky and it almost looks 3-D.  I was amazed that once we put it on her, Lexie didn't take it off.
Lexie somehow ended up at the front of the parade and was leading the line.  She was waving at everyone.  She cracks me up at the things she does!

  2. Ha! That mask is kind of creepy!

Looks like she had a great time and it's terrific that she gets to connect with her Taiwan buds!
