Is it Lucky 13 Months?

Lexie isn't too lucky today as she turns 13 months. She has a runny nose. Eric thinks its because she has discovered how to stick her finger up her nose. She loves doing it and gets mad if we try to take her finger out. She tries to bite our finger.

Her favorite thing these days is water. She loves her bath and likes to sit in it, while I fill it up with water. She's fascinated by the water coming out of the shower head. Lexie will purposely turn over Maxx and Gohan's water dish so she can sit in the water and splash around. We're hoping the weather gets better and her runny nose comes to an end, so we can finally enjoy the pool that we got for her birthday. We also got her this really cute ladybug bathing suit and can't wait to see her in it.

Lexie is getting a hang of the walking thing. She's still not completely coordinated, but refuses to crawl anywhere even though that might get her there faster. She even tries to run. It's funny when Maxx sort of chases her and she tries to run away. She now understands how to push her little car and will push it around the house until she bangs into a wall. She tries to ride on it, but her legs still aren't long enough to move it on her own, but she loves when I push her while she's sitting in it.

She has become a climber. Anything that she can get her legs over, she's climbing it. She puts the car next to the couch, so she can climb up. She's tried climbing into the dishwasher. When it's bath time, she's trying to climb into the tub before I even undress her.

Her 2 top teeth are almost out and we can see 2 more coming out. She's still a great eater. She has moved up to the toddler crackers and loves Gerber's 'lil crunchies. They look like cheetos but come in veggie or cinnamon flavors. She smells like waffles and syrup after she eats them, very sweet!

Lexie is still a babbler. She says "mum, mum" when she wants her milk. We think she can say "hi" and she tries to repeat words, but won't say it again after she tries once. Lexie definitely understands what we're saying. When you tell her "yes", she nods her head. She knows body parts and does the motions when we sing. She loves dancing and it's so funny to watch. She even does this move, where she squats and her butt bounces up and down.

We're definitely the lucky ones because Lexie makes everyday feel like we've just won the lottery! We love you, sweetheart!
