As a teacher, I know that Lexie shouldn't spend her time watching tv, but sometimes, when things need to get done around the house, I have to turn that tv on. We try to have her watch educational programs, such as "Sid" or other shows on PBS. Lexie is not much of a couch potato. She will usually watch it if there is music (that's the part she loves on Sid) or there are strange looking characters (like "A Big, Big World" or "Word World"). She can sit and watch for about 10 minutes, but she'll start walking around and play with her toys and then will go back and sit by the tv for a few minutes at a time. Sometimes, Gohan will sit with her and keep her company.
Lexie loves to watch "My Baby Can Read". She loves the songs that they sing and she's been learning some of the words. Watch closely as she nods her head for "yes" and then shakes her head for "no" and if you listen closely, you can hear her saying "no." So cute!
it's the songs that she loves when she watches tv. sometimes she'll even try and sing along, but most of the time she just dances! one of these days we'll video her dancing!
