This girl never ceases to amaze us. All summer we tried to get her interested in the water. She loves to drink it, but didn't like to be in it. We took her to the beach, she cried. We put her in the kiddie pool, she cried. Then one day, I took her to my friend's house and Lexie just decided that a girl can always change her mind. On that day, she was in love with the pool. Now she likes her kiddie pool. We still haven't tried the beach again, but will soon.
So, the other day, Eric dropped by his friend's house and he took Lexie to see her pool. She made a beeline towards it and was about to jump in. Eric had to run and grab her. He said that she sat on the edge and was kicking her feet in the water. She didn't even care that her face and clothes were getting all wet. Thank you Aunty Diane, we will take you up on your offer and as soon as we find a day, we'll bring Lexie by for a swim.
Of course she can change her mind....we do it about every 5 minutes at our house!! LOL I seriously have no idea from day to day what is in and what is out, we just take it as it comes. Just glad that Lexie likes the pool now:) Fingers crossed on the beach. Miss H was a big beach fan in March, but we will see how it goes in Sept.
