Egg Test

Last year we didn't even attempt to dye eggs with Lexie. Even when we had our Easter egg hunt, she didn't quite understand that she was supposed to look for eggs and put them in her basket. We're hoping this year is different. We let Lexie practice coloring some eggs.
We bought egg spinners to color the eggs. The eggs came out really pretty. We only used one color, but I think it'll look even nicer when we mix colors. Lexie was very fascinated by the eggs.
The first thing she always does is try to see how it tastes.
Then maybe give it a few licks.
I guess she wanted to use all of her senses. She smelled the egg.
She listened to it.
She liked rolling the egg in her hand, especially getting all of that pink color on her fingers.
She showed the eggs to Maxx.
But wasn't very happy when he tried to eat that egg right out of her hands.
Those eggs didn't stay in one piece for very long. She started hitting them together and cracked one of them and then she threw the other one on the ground.
