Back to the Fair

We went to the fair with Nolan and his family. It was a fun night even though it rained a little. The dads had a great time racing on the slides.
Eric said the slides were very wet and it was evident when they stood up. Even sitting on those sacks, their pants were pretty soaked.
The mommies went on the dragon. I think I must be getting too old for these spinning rides. I got dizzy and it wasn't even going very fast.
Lexie's favorite is the merry-go-round. She rode it twice. I think when we go to Disneyland, we'll be spending a lot of time on their carousel.
There were lots of great shows to see. The best was the circus acts under the big tent. I can't believe Lexie waited for the show to start and then sat to watch it for about 45 minutes. Then we played in the small tent where they were having a backyard circus.
There was a little area for children to play with some giant stuffed animals. Lexie found this little dog and if she could, she would have taken it home with her. Luckily, I was able to win at "pop the balloons" and won her a little husky puppy. So now, she has another doggie to add to her collection.
We loved watching the camel and ostrich races. This was as close as we could get to the camels. Because of the quarantine laws, the trainers couldn't let the public touch any of the animals.
