What a pleasant surprise! I opened my email and this cutie was waiting for me. As of Sept. 5, Lexie was 13.23 pounds. She's now eating a whole bunch of stuff like pumpkins, vegetable soup, papayas, bananas and steamed buns with bean paste. (Eric says she definitely takes after me because those are all of the things that I love to eat - we'll definitely be fighting over pumpkin pie).
She can now roll over and and hold herself up on her arms. We're so glad that she seems to be developing. I was worried that she was on her back all of the time. Her foster family says she's very sweet and laughs a lot. She likes to be pampered, (oh, no, and now we're going to spoil her even more).
Just seeing her face makes us even more anxious to go. We are counting down the days and we hope they go by really fast.
