Maybe September's Not So Great After All

We just heard from our agency and the reason we haven't gotten our ruling yet is because Lexie's birth mom is nowhere to be found. I guess in order for the judge to make a ruling, an interview with her birth mom must be completed and so far it hasn't been done.

It's kind of upsetting because the agency in Taiwan had several months to make contact with her prior to the hearing, then from the information we got, the birth mom was present at the hearing. Instead of getting the information while she was there, they only asked for her phone number and address and said they would contact her later. Well, now she's no longer at that address and can't be reached by phone either.

Our agency is trying to find out what happens if they cannot locate her, so hopefully we get some answers. It looks like there won't be any good news this month. At this rate, we'll be lucky if we travel in November. We really need some good karma to come our way. If anyone knows where we can get some, let us know!!!
