We finally got the news we've been waiting for. Our final ruling has come in and we are scheduled to pick Lexie up on November 2. We're excited beyond words!! It just feels very surreal at this moment and I know once we float back down to earth, we're going to be totally stressed. We have to make travel arrangements. We have to get all of the stuff we'll need for Lexie once we pick her up. We'll need to make plans for Maxx & Gogo (we hope their wonderful cousins across the street will take care of them - hint, hint). We need to get the nursery ready. We've been letting everything just pile up in her room, but now we got to get off our butts and start putting together the crib and cleaning out things that we don't need. I'll be doing lots of laundry soon, I can finally take those price tags off her clothes.
We also got a few pictures of Lexie and she has grown a lot in the past few months. Still no hair, but she is a cutie. I'll post the pictures a little later. Eric & I are going to celebrate and go out for some nachos and our favorite chocolate molten cake at Chili's.
We're so happy to hear the great news!!! We're so excited to hear that Lexie will be coming home soon! Have fun getting ready for her arrival!
