It's American Idol time and I actually had time to watch about 15 minutes of the audition rounds. I was playing with Lexie and she was busy crawling around and getting into everything. Then all of a sudden, she stopped and was mesmerized by the television. There was a 16 year old girl singing "Hallelujah." It was one of my favorite songs the year that Jason Castro sang it. This girl was amazing and it almost made me cry. Lexie's eyes were glued to the set and she didn't move until the song was over. When she was done singing, Lexie gave that girl a standing ovation. She was clapping and bouncing around like it was the best thing she ever heard. Too funny!! Of course, I forgot to video tape this whole thing because it would have been fun to see. Oh, well the season has just started, so we'll see if Lexie has any other favorites!
