Having Lexie with us during the holidays and to ring in the new year has been so amazing. It's so hard to put it into words. This little girl has brought such joy to our lives. We feel so fortunate that she's healthy, easy going and so full of love. We cannot imagine our lives without her and we believe that we were meant to be together.
Lexie got a lot of Christmas presents, but she still prefers to play with hangers.

Lexie and her brother Maxx love to sing the ABC's. She finally figured out how to spin the wheel so that it plays the music.

Cousin Corey made a kadomatsu for us. Lexie was fascinated by it. The kadomatsu is made from bamboo and pine. It's suppose to bring prosperity and long life for the new year.

We had a pretty quiet New Year's Eve, except for our neighbors who were making a lot of noise with their fireworks. Lexie slept through most of it. She fell asleep about 8:00 and woke up just as the clock struck midnight. We went to Aunty Jodi's to wish everyone a Happy New Year and Lexie got her first taste of saimin. Eating noodles will give Lexie a long and healthy life. She loved it and ate several pieces.
