Lexie Needs a Bedroom

"I want to see my room again!"

Yea, Lexie's room now has a door. We can't wait for our house to finally be ready for us to move in, so Lexie can have her own bedroom. It's been hard having Lexie sleep in the living room. Once Lexie sleeps, we have to stay out of the kitchen, which means Maxx better not have to go out to use the bathroom. It's also hard for me in the mornings, when I'm trying to eat breakfast and get ready for work. She is such a light sleeper, that any sound or light will wake her up.

On top of that, she's been sleeping in a pack and play for the past 3 months. We finally realized why she's always curled up around the edge of the playpen when she sleeps. It's because the playpen is only meant for temporary use and it's supposed to be folded up, so there's this lump in the middle of the pad. There's no way to push that piece down flat, so it kind of sticks up. So when she sleeps, we put her in the middle, but she always moves to the sides of the crib to get comfortable. So, that's why we're hoping and praying our house can be done soon and we can start moving in because we have a brand new crib sitting in a box and a comfy mattress all ready for Lexie. We know she will sleep a lot better on a real mattress and be in the comfort of her own bedroom.
